Workshops and hackathons with students, academics, girls and migrants
This week, for the practical workshops of the course in Exhibition Space Design, the students of the three-year fashion and industrial design course at the San Raffaele Telematic University of Rome are accompanied by Professor Valeria Magistro Andersen, head of the fashion laboratory. On Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 for the whole day, from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., the university students are in the Game Lab. On the occasion of the second National Week of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics disciplines (4-11 February), the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and Safer Internet Day, which fall on Tuesday 11 February, we are organising a women's Osint Challenge dedicated to online safety [see the news item Young people become 007 of the web].
We would like to remind you that with The Day for Internet Safety (SID 2025) starts the 9th edition of the Month for Internet Safety, promoted by the Ministry of Education and Merit and by Generazioni conesse (FMD is part of the Advisory board). Schools and project partners are called upon to carry out activities to disseminate the principles of positive use of the web and technological tools.
On Wednesday 12 February, students from the Leopoldo Pirelli high school in Rome are the protagonists of a workshop on artificial intelligence, led by trainer Jamila Naffati. The reference project is Ital.IA Lab, realised with the support of Microsoft.
On Thursday 13 and Friday 14, from 3 to 6 p.m., the young migrants of the Abitare la città project return to the Palestra dell'Innovazione for two workshops on digital skills. The trainers are Marco Brocchieri and Lara Forgione.
