Fondazione Mondo Digitale adheres to the ALL DIGITAL Weeks 2025 campaign
Fondazione Mondo Digitale is participating once again in the ALL DIGITAL Weeks 2025 campaign, a European initiative running from March 17 to April 4, 2025, supported by the European Commission and involving numerous international and national partners. With the motto “Enhance your digital skills,” the campaign aims to strengthen the digital skills of European citizens, improving their job prospects, social participation, and sustainable economic growth.
Core Themes of ALL DIGITAL Weeks 2025
- This year, the campaign focuses on six core themes:
- Digital skills for work, entrepreneurship, and innovation: from reskilling to upskilling, from basic to advanced skills.
- Digital skills for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (DEI): addressing the digital divide based on gender, ethnicity, and migration status.
- Certifications and tools for digital skills assessment: DigComp, DigCompEdu, MyDigiSkills, and the European Digital Skills Certificate.
- Media literacy and fighting misinformation: developing critical thinking and the ability to recognize and combat fake news.
- Cybersecurity and online safety: protecting personal data and promoting best practices for safe digital use.
- Digital skills for the environment and sustainability: digital and green transition, GreenComp, and sustainable development goals (SDGs).
- Application of artificial intelligence in education and training: exploring the potential and challenges of AI in the educational sector.
Events organized by Fondazione Mondo Digitale
In line with the objectives of the campaign, ondazione Mondo Digitale has organized a series of training and awareness-raising events focused on various areas of digital skills. Among the main events are the following:
Il lavoro è tuo! Le Competenze per Ripartire: a webinar hosted by Angela Ritrovato Pejeroni (Senior Relationship Manager) and Francesca Gioia Pesto (Account Director) from LinkedIn Italy. The session will provide a comprehensive guide on using the LinkedIn platform to confidently navigate the job market. Participants will learn how to leverage LinkedIn tools to build a professional network and improve online visibility. Additionally, those who attend at least 85% of the webinar will receive a free voucher for LinkedIn Premium. The event will take place on March 20, 2025, from 5 to 6 PM, online via Zoom.
Nonni su Internet: On March 20, students from the Liceo Volterra in Ciampino will teach elderly members of the Cava dei Selci Association in Marino how to use their mobile phones. The initiative aims to reduce the digital divide between generations, fostering digital inclusion for older people through direct student support.
Suburb View: On April 3, 2025, the final events of the Suburb View project will take place simultaneously, showcasing artistic prototypes created by students from two high schools. In Rome, students from IIS Carlo Urbani in Ostia will present their prototype created with digital artist Giacomo Lion. In Milan, students from Istituto Galilei-Luxemburg will show their work created in collaboration with artist Umberto Nicoletti. The work, inspired by Billboard Art, reflects on the potential of urban spaces as a medium for social and cultural expression. The project is also part of the Milan ArtWeek.
Roll Cloud. Lavorare sulla nuvola: Skill Up Day – March 25, 2025, at the University of Eastern Piedmont (Novara campus) and March 26, 2025, at Officina Grandi Riparazioni - OGR Torino. These interactive sessions will give students the opportunity to explore emerging technologies and artificial intelligence applied to human resource management, with support from industry experts. It will be an opportunity to acquire new skills, discover career opportunities in the digital market, and tackle a case study on AI and recruiting.
Coding Girls Torino: On March 20, 2025, at the ITC G. Sommeiller in Turin, a workshop dedicated to exploring generative artificial intelligence and its applications will take place. Participants will have the chance to design a chatbot using the Botpress platform, aiming to address a local need. This workshop offers an engaging experience that combines technical skills with awareness of social issues, providing students with a practical and meaningful learning opportunity.
Mind The Gap: On March 19, 2025, at IC Calcutta in Milan, a creative workshop on digital skills orientation, part of the Mind the Gap project, will be held. The workshop aims to transform ideas generated in the previous phase, "How an Idea Is Born," curated by Junior Achievement, into prototypes, products, and communication materials. This experience will encourage participants to combine creativity and technology, using various tools in a mindful and thoughtful way. The goal is to enhance digital skills in an innovative and fun way, offering a unique opportunity for professional and personal growth.
Abitare la città in modo competente: On March 18, 2025, at Città Educativa, a course for asylum seekers and holders of international protection will be held. The course offers practical skills and up-to-date tools to succeed in the job market. Through an interactive and practical approach, participants will learn how to navigate public resources, use digital platforms, create an effective CV, and prepare for job interviews, enhancing their opportunities for labor market inclusion.
Smile: Four paths started this month. The first explores how to generate multimedia content and optimize workflows with the help of artificial intelligence, training participants to become social media managers 4.0. The second focuses on data analysis and creating predictive models using machine learning methodologies. The third provides an overview of the fundamentals of digital marketing, with a focus on opportunities offered by the integration of generative AI. Finally, the fourth path provides practical skills in using Figma for prototyping and designing vector graphics, and Photopea for photo editing and image manipulation.
