With the City of Rome at the Smart City Expo on November 5-7.
The Smart City Expo in Barcelona (November 5-7) is the main event for cities and urban innovation. The city of Rome will present various projects, including the “Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti – House of Emerging Technology” and share actions that will make a city more connected, secure, and inclusive like 5G networks, integrated management systems for public services and the development of innovative technology.
In terms of social innovation projects, Rome will present the experience of Smart & Heart Rome and the “Innovation Gyms that drive digital transformation and inclusion in the city,” explains Riccardo Corbucci, Presidente of the Council Commission on Statute and Technological Innovation.
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale will participate in various activities in Barcelona. Director General Mirta Michilli will participate in a debate entitled “A Bridge Towards an Inclusive Future: Citizens and Students as Protagonists of Rome’s Digital Transition,” and there will be a conversation (live and podcast) with Cinzia Diana, event manager.
In the showcase area (Pavilion 2, Level 0, Street D, Stand 71), besides the three-year Smart & Heart Rome Plan, visitors will be able to learn about other projects and development platforms, including Pathway Companion, Ital.IA Lab, Job Digital Lab, 2030 Youth Vision, and RomeCup 2025.
