This week’s activities at the Innovation Gym.
Students at the Gigi Proietti Comprehensive Institute return to the Innovation Gym on Via del Quadraro for play sessions in the Interland Room. Young coach Emanuele Coletta will guide the children through the exploration of four fantastic kingdoms which, at the Innovation Gym, has become a physical space mirroring the digital version. The children will participate in digital and analogical didactic activities to learn fundamental lessons about web security.
Each kingdom includes a screen and vocal support to explain the activities to carry out, a question session, and riddles, as well as a manual game, i.e. the construction of a tower for the “Treasure Tower Kingdom” and a Leonardo da Vinci bridge for the “Reality River Kindgom.” On Thursday, November 7, Project Officer Marta Pietrelli, who coordinates Project Fully Enjoy the Internet, will welcome children to the Innovation Gym from 9:00 to 13:00.

Activities also continue for Project Enjoying the City Competently, to accompany with our partners, 90 asylum seekers and recipients of international protection in inclusion courses to allow them to finally “feel at home.” The partnership, coordinated by the Federation of Evangelical Churches (lead partner), includes the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, ActionAid International Italia, and the Fondazione Adecco for Equal Opportunities. The project organises free 30-hour courses to strengthen technical-professional and digital skills, define professional objectives, and seek employment efficiently (also through insertion in companies or self-enterprise), as well as support for affordable living conditions. This week, four appointments will be held at the Innovation Gym on Via del Quadraro: one on basic IT and digital skills and three on digital skills for work.
