Suburb View

Another view of the suburbs. Collective creativity and volunteering with Urban Vision

‘Young people are powerful agents of change and innovation as well as essential partners in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development [...]. Young people have the right to participate meaningfully in the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and follow-up of policies that affect them and society in general’ (from the Conclusions on the social dimension of a sustainable Europe for young people, May 2023).

In the context of Goal 11 of the 2030 Agenda, i.e. to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, lasting and sustainable, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale together with Urban Vision is promoting the Suburb View project for the enhancement of urban spaces with the contribution of young people. Students have the opportunity to participate, together with the educational community, in a workshop for the collaborative production of a creative work to enhance a place particularly dear to the school community.
