What's happening today at the university and tonight at the Capitoline Museums
RomeCup 2025 continues with a day packed with events bringing together young people, universities, businesses and institutions. From experiential workshops for schools of all levels to contests on artificial intelligence applied to health and educational robotics, and round tables on training, human development and technological transition, today's programme is an invitation to train critical thinking, explore new frontiers of knowledge and collectively build an inclusive and sustainable future. The day will end with the Research Award ceremony, which celebrates the most promising young researchers in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, in the prestigious setting of the Capitoline Museums.
9.30am – 1pm | PROJECTS ALONGSIDE COMPANIES
RE-IMAGINE YOUR FUTURE AND TRAIN YOUR CRITICAL THINKING
Under the guidance of illustrator and visual storyteller Fernando Cobelo, secondary school students discover how to use creativity and artificial intelligence consciously. The initiative is part of the ‘Roll Cloud. Working on the Cloud', in collaboration with Opening Future, a joint project by Google Cloud, Intesa Sanpaolo and TIM Enterprise. DIGITAL SUPERHEROES: THE CHALLENGES OF ETHICAL HACKING AT ROMECUP
Secondary school students, thanks to the presence of experts and young ethical hackers, will discover the crucial role of cybersecurity in modern society. The initiative is part of the ‘Job Digital Lab’ project, in collaboration with ING Italia. Moderated by Francesca OLIVA, Rai journalist (9.30 a.m. – 1 p.m., room N11).
LEARNING TO GROW WITH PATHWAY COMPANION. THE CHALLENGE OF INCLUSIVE AND SAFE AI FOR MINORS
Workshop offering a preview of the learning platform equipped with intelligent tutoring to support caregivers (teachers, parents and other support figures) and children and young people with special educational needs. The initiative is part of the ‘Pathway Companion’ project, in collaboration with Google.org, Fondazione Don Gnocchi, IT Logix and Roma Tre University. HEALTH BOT: TOGETHER TOWARDS THE MEDICINE OF THE FUTURE
On the occasion of RomeCup 2025, the winning team of the Health BOT contest will be awarded. Teams of secondary school students will present artificial intelligence solutions for health. The initiative is part of the ‘Fattore J’ project, in collaboration with Johnson&Johnson. Moderated by Mariavittoria Savini, RAI journalist (11 a.m. – 12.30 p.m., room N6).
10 - 11.30 | INDUSTRY 5.0 AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT
In this round table discussion, different perspectives from the humanities and hard sciences will be compared in order to develop new models of continuing education and the conscious use of technology and resources to address the challenges posed by the geopolitical situation and climate change.
