Four meetings at the Innovation Gym for refugees and asylum seekers
The February appointments of the ‘Abitare la città in modo competente’ (Living the city competently) project continue. Together with our partners, we are accompanying 90 asylum seekers and holders of international protection on inclusion pathways to finally make them ‘feel at home’. The partnership, led by the Federation of Evangelical Churches (lead partner), is made up of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, ActionAid International Italia and the Fondazione Adecco per le Pari Opportunità.
The project involves the organisation of free 30-hour courses to strengthen technical-professional and digital skills, define professional objectives and search for work effectively (including the possibility of placement in a company or support for self-employment), and support in the search for sustainable housing solutions.
The week's appointments at the Palestra dell'Innovazione in Via del Quadraro concern both basic digital and IT skills and digital skills for work.
