Thursday, December 5 at Roboteco in Bergamo.
As part of the national Coding Girls Programme, in October and November, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Roboteco-Italargon, held a course on applications for industrial automation and robotics for upper secondary school and university students in Bergamo.
On Dec. 5, the Roboteco-Italargon offices in Ponte San Pietro, in the Province of Bergamo, will host 50 students divided into teams for a final hackathon on the development of a robotic soldering system for a potential client. The challenge will be preceded by a visit to the factory. Roboteco-Italargon is the exclusive distributor in Italy and Spain for Panasonic robots for arch and laser soldering with innovative custom-tailored solutions, thanks its cutting-edge programming software allowing the highest levels of efficiency, precision, and quality in laser and arch robotic welding. The aim of the challenge is to introduce students to industrial robotics, a sector with a marked growth and innovation potential.
