Binario F: presentation of Projects SWAT and DIG4ALL

the 15-19 age group, one out of five young people neither studies nor works [Istat, Annual Report 2023]. And yet youth is a key resource for the future growth of the country; gender equality on the workplace would guarantee an up to 12% growth of the GDP [Eige data]. 

SWAT and DIG4ALL, two projects selected by the Digital Republic Fund – Social Enterprise, are the result of a strong work alliance with multidimensional activities to help NEETs and women to develop an adequate professional role with equal opportunities. The projects will field flexible, scalable, and sustainable activities that can also be combined with institutional strategies.

On September 27, Binario F will host the presentation of the services, methodologies, and concrete tools developed for SWAT and DIG4ALL, which will provide digital training courses through custom-tailored courses and on the most requested profiles. Free courses, work orientation, individual interviews, and certified skills make these two projects particularly attractive to the two categories that currently exhibit the highest unemployment rates in Italy.

In particular, Project Supporting Women, Arousing Talents (SWAT) will address 250  women aged 18-50. The project partnership includes partnership includes the Fondazione Mondo Digitale (lead partners), ARCI APS, and Fondazione Adecco ETS, with the support of ING Bank Milan Branch. Project DIG4ALL addresses 240 young women and men aged 16-34 who are neither studying nor working (NEET) in six regions in central and northern Italy (Lombardy, Liguria, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, Umbria, and Lazio). The partnership includes Fondazione Albero della Vita (lead partner) and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, with the support of Fondazione ITS Angelo Rizzoli per le Tecnologie dell'informazione e della Comunicazione, Webhelp Enterprise Sales Solutions Italy Srl. 

Both projects, which address basic, advanced, professional, and specialistic digital skills, will begin in November 2023 and end in June 2024. The acquired skills will be professionally certified through the “Atlante del Lavoro” Classification System in collaboration with Roma Tre and IT Logics
