From urban regeneration in Calabria to the challenges of artificial intelligence in Tuscany, via digital training for businesses in Puglia and open laboratories in Rome: the new week brings with it a packed calendar of events combining technology, skills and social inclusion. European projects, research programmes and local initiatives show how innovation can serve citizens, young people and territories, building more aware and resilient communities.

Monday 15 September | Prodigy in Reggio Calabria
Reggio Calabria

At 6 p.m., a meeting dedicated to the future of the region as part of the European project Prodigy – Promoting Digital and Green Skills for Youth. The round table, organised with the Macramè Consortium and the Impronte a Sud project, focuses on urban regeneration, social innovation and new training and job opportunities for young people.

Monday 15 September | Cybersecurity Seminars Hackathon 
Online

From 2 to 6 p.m., the hackathon linked to Google.org's Cybersecurity Seminars programme will take place online, in collaboration with Virtual Routes, the University of Milan and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. After a training course on cybersecurity, postgraduate students from various faculties will take on a real-life challenge, devising innovative solutions to strengthen the culture of cybersecurity.

Wednesday 17 September | DisclAImer in Siena
Tuscany

The national tour DisclAImer. Last warnings before the revolution, a project by Corriere della Sera curated by Riccardo Luna, starts at the University of Siena. The first stage, dedicated to health, combines scientific and economic reflection with a multidisciplinary Challenge on artificial intelligence applied to pharmacy and bioinformatics.

Friday 19 September | From prompt to post in Bari
Puglia

At the Fiera del Levante, a theoretical-practical workshop organised with the Bari Chamber of Commerce and the PID shows how generative artificial intelligence can enhance the digital communication of small and medium-sized enterprises. Texts, images, videos and strategic prompts become immediately usable tools thanks to live exercises.

Saturday 20 September | Open workshops at the Palestra dell'Innovazione
Lazio

A free day for families, students, teachers and citizens of Rome's VII Municipality. From digital facilitation helpdesks to educational robotics, from virtual reality to digital manufacturing, to Virtual Taekwondo simulations: a unique opportunity to experiment with emerging technologies and train for the skills of the future.
