We are accredited by the Ministry of Education to provide training for school staff in accordance with Directive No. 170 of 21 March 2016, and we are authorised to issue certificates for teachers.
The Digital Certificate for Teachers
Among this year’s new initiatives, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is also presenting a course dedicated to teachers in lower and upper secondary schools leading to the award of the Digital Certificate for Digital Citizenship.
The initiative is inspired by the AGCOM Policy Document (Resolution No. 177/24/CONS) and offers a modular programme that integrates the European frameworks DigComp and DigCompEdu. The aim is to strengthen the teacher’s role as a facilitator and multiplier of digital skills, providing micro-certificates for each module and a final certification, which is also valid for the purposes of teaching civic education.

A training programme created by Google, promoted by Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS in partnership with the State Police, Altroconsumo and Anteas, to help young people use the web and technology responsibly, learn the principles of digital citizenship and online safety, distinguish between true and false information online, protect personal data, and communicate in a polite and constructive manner.
PATHWAY COMPANION
AI for inclusive, personalised and secure learning
Fondazione Mondo Digitale with the support of Google.org, the Don Gnocchi Foundation, ITLogiX and Roma Tre University, to create an artificial intelligence-based learning platform which, among its features, offers intelligent tutoring to support carers (teachers, support teachers, healthcare professionals and parents) and children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) in their educational journey and to ensure their online safety.

Artificial intelligence in schools
Ital.IA Lab is a project promoted by Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Microsoft Italia, created to promote an inclusive approach to artificial intelligence and support the growth of digital skills in our country. Within the project, teachers take centre stage thanks to a programme of professional development and educational innovation designed to promote the informed and responsible use of AI in schools.
EXPERIENCE AI
Artificial intelligence with awareness, competence and community
Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS has become a partner of the Raspberry Pi Foundation for Italy as part of the Experience AI programme. The project aims to support teachers in experimenting with practical and inclusive teaching methods, with the objective of strengthening fundamental skills in artificial intelligence and its responsible use in education among both teachers and their students.
