MIT Technology Review Italia: Ilaria Potito interviews Mirta Michilli

“Since 2014, with the Coding Girls programme, which includes vision, content, strategies, and methodologies, we have been helping girls and young women to freely choose their own educational and professional future. By providing STEAM training courses, with peer training experiences, orientation towards careers of the future, and the presentation of positive models, we fight against prejudices and stereotypes to accelerate the achievement of equal opportunities, especially in the scientific and technological sector. Learning is a multidimensional process, made up of knowledge, skills, values, and character aspects, where empowerment is central as the ability to actively control one's life and overcome obstacles.”

The MIT Technology Review Italia, the oldest global magazine dedicated to technology and innovation, started at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1899, presents an interview by Ilaria Potito with our Director, Mirta Michilli. The article in the “Impact” Section, presents the Coding Girls Model.
