Children and adolescents on-line: a double event in Dublin with Google
Today and tomorrow, Ilaria Graziano, Project Manager and Developer, and Marta Pietrelli, Coordinator for Fully Enjoy the Internet and CS First will be in Dublin for a two-day work session with Google.
This afternoon, starting at 2 pm, a round table will be held with Google experts and partners working on on-line security issues. Instinctif Partners, a local Irish agency, will present the results of the research it conducted on these issues for Google. Experts from the Google Kids and Family and Global Affairs teams will also participate.
Tomorrow, March 5 (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) the Growing Up in the Digital Age Kids & Family Summit will be held to discuss how to protect, respect, and empower children and young people on-line life at different stages of their growth. The event is hosted by the Google Safety Engineering Center on the Dublin campus.
The programme features interactive panels, Q&A sessions, talks, and keynotes from multidisciplinary experts, including experts from Google and YouTube, partners and organizations who work closely with Google on child safety issues, and representatives from authorities and European institutions.
