October 25-26 in Brussels
This week we are involved in wo events organised by da Google in Brussels with Project Manager Ilaria e Graziano and Project Officer Marta Pietrelli.
The first appointment, on Thursday, October 25, is the Leaders Lab Event: a rich, stimulating day dedicated to strengthening the Google.org community and preparing organisations to face today’s most urgent challenges, such as misinformation. Participants will be involved in a four-hour interactive development activity, sharing tools and models for a high-impact leadership in today’s complex and dynamic panorama. The learning experience, which is based on Google’s internal approach, aims to provide the leaders of NGOs with relevant applicable practices to develop their leadership capacity and accelerate the impact of their organisation.
On Friday, October 26, we will participate in the Fighting Misinformation Online Summit. Hosted by Laurie Richardson (Google VP for Trust and Safety), together with partners (European University Institute, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and YouTube), the even will invite European governments, policy makers, NGOs, media organisaions, academics and technology compa ies to collaborate and share knowledge on fighting misinformation.
Super Searchers, a new Google literacy information programme developed with libraries and librarians, will be held as a side interactive session at the summit. The session is open to all organisations working on media literacy and information activities.
