Two days of training for the Italian Red Cross
On Saturday and Sunday, September 9-10, the Rome Innovation Gym will host two days of training for 100 volunteers of the Italian Red Cross. Participants will explore tools, technology, and methodologies to participate with greater awareness in the digital transformation processes being implemented by the Red Cross.
On the first day, the volunteers, divided into four groups, will be involved in various labs ranging from the exploration of technology in digital environments to debates on the possible applications of this technology to improve healthcare.
- Digital Manufacturing
Introduction to the Fab Lab environment and culture with a focus on cooperation. Participants will be divided into small groups to develop an object with Tinkercad software. Coach Daniele Vigo.
- Robotics and IoT
Introduction to Arduino and development of an interactive prototype.

- Immersive Reality
Experimenting with various ways of interacting with virtual, augmented, and mixed reality. Immersive experiences from videogames to artworks with Meta Quest 2 Visors. Coach Emanuele Coletta.
- Multimedia Communication
Exploring tools and techniques for multimedia communications.

The second day will be dedicated to a design thinking session with Cecilia Stajano, aiming to prototype the best project ideas that emerged from the cooperative work sessions.
