Milano Digital Week: all-female challenge on cybersecurity
At Milano Digital Week, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Microsoft present the CyberSHEcurity Challenge: forty Milanese students will work on creating a prevention and defence strategy for a company targeted by cyber criminals.
The event is promoted as part of the Ambizione Italia for Cybersecurity project, conceived in collaboration with Microsoft, and implemented together with the national Coding Girls Programme. The young protagonists learn to deal with hot issues, such as privacy and data security, and they do so not only from a personal, but also professional point of view. In fact, the objective is to help girls seize the numerous career opportunities available in the cybersecurity sector. This sector is rapidly expanding, but in 2023 only features 25% female employment globally.
