A Synergy between Job Digital Lab and Coding Girls
The synergy between Programme Coding Girls and Job Digital Lab, promoted with ING Italia, had led to the proposal of a free orientation and training course to introduce students, especially young women, to issues concerning the digital transition and financial education.
The course, with a practical and experiential focus, aims to increase the awareness and financial culture of youth, helping them develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become aware and informed citizens. In addition to the sessions held by ING experts, the programme will also provide sessions to enhance digital skills and learn how to design a web application. During the course, participants will design the App I’d Like to promote of correct financial education and reflect on the importance of acquiring the knowledge, skills, and behaviour necessary to make financial decisions that are consistent with one's aspirations, needs, and possibilities.
WHY DIGITAL TOOLS ARE AN EXCELLENT VEHICLE FOR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

- Gamification – the use of game and simulation techniques makes learning financial concepts more fun and efficient.
- More involvement – Digital resources allow greater user involvement, allowing them to interact with content and custom-tailor learning to their needs.
- Budgeting tools – Apps and software can help with budgeting and keeping track of money.
