With a topical and stimulating theme, ‘ArtificialIntelligence: Which skills do I need?’, the talk features two leading experts: researcher Letitia Parcalabescu, an expert in artificial intelligence systems, and Paolo Celot, a new media expert and founder of Eavi.
The meeting addresses fundamental aspects of AI, from understanding how it works to false myths related to machine learning. Practical strategies for using AI technologies in a conscious and responsible way are shared, with a special focus on how to protect oneself from the risks of misinformation and misleading, truthful but false content.
In simple and engaging language, experts also delve into more technical aspects, to understand, for example, how an artificial intelligence is trained and how AI learns.

The European project e-EngAGEd, funded by the European Commission (CERV programme), aims to strengthen the digital, social and political engagement of young adults (aged 18 to 25) and older adults (aged 50 and over) withintergenerational learning. The project involves young volunteers who are trained to become facilitators and pass on their digital knowledge to older adults.
