First day of the summer camp promoted by Human+
Once again this year, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is playing a leading role in StemDays, the summer camp dedicated to science and technology, which is taking place in Turin at Toolbox Coworking from 16 to 27 June [see the news item StemDays 2025 in Turin].
The programme includes the return of the Miss Robot module, one of the most popular project works: a technical-practical workshop designed to stimulate scientific curiosity, digital creativity and peer collaboration. Guided by the Foundation's trainers, participants build and program a robotic arm, learning through the learning by doing methodology.
The inclusive and stimulating experiential setting integrates humanistic and technical knowledge, cross-cutting and digital skills, strengthening confidence, autonomy and critical thinking in our stem girls. The course culminates with the public presentation of the projects at the final event on 27 June.
The team of trainers involved includes Francesca Formaggio, Francesco Dappiano, Riccardo Accattino and Matteo Lingua, with an important new addition: the active participation of fourth-year high school volunteers, who support the girls in the various stages of the work. The trainers and volunteers are coordinated by Cecilia Stajano, community manager for FMD.
The programme, which is free of charge and valid as a Pathway for Transversal Skills and Orientation (PCTO), is promoted by the Fondazione Human+ and supported by Intesa Sanpaolo through the Formula programme in collaboration with Cesvi.
