Consulting on a cooperation project in Ukraine.
Our partner Fondazione L'Albero della Vita (OpenSpace, Dig4All) has asked us to act as consultants for the creation of a mini Innovation Gym in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. These are territorial hubs dedicated to digital skills and STEM subjects, with a particular focus on school, funded by the Italian Development Cooperation Agency (AICS).
As FMD, we will conduct the following activities:
- Plan and technical assistance for creation of a mini “Innovation Gym” in the Chernivtsi local hub. We designed a gym that can host digital manufacturing, robotics, and coding (activities) with tools and kits (laser cutters, 3D printers, and plotters; Lego Education Spike and Arduino; PCs).
The set-up was organised by Daniele Vigo, Fab Lab Coordinator at the first Innovation Gym in Rome at the Città Educativa. - Preparation and development of a six-day on-line training course (18 hours total) for ten teachers (master trainers). Fab Lab trainers: Daniele Vigo and Emanuele Coletta; Robotics trainer: Emanuele Coletta; Coding trainer: Lara Forgione.
- On-line follow-up (help desk) for master trainers (technical assistance and support, including didactic activities).
The second week of the master trainer course begins today.
