Binario F: networking event dedicated to candidates and companies, yesterday.

Employers have new tax incentives to hire workers in 2024. There still are many incentives that companies can take advantage of to hire women and youth. In order to understand these new measures and meet with skilled candidates, on July 4, 2024, Binario F hosted a  networking event dedicated to companies that aim to hire new personnel, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and L’Albero della Vita

In particular, companies met with candidates with medium-high profiles and semi-structured skills trained by Projects DIG4All and SWAT, selected by the Fondo per la Repubblica Digitale - Impresa sociale. These are courses that promote reskilling and upskilling of youth and women seeking employment. Both projects include a course on digital skills, a custom-tailoredcoaching programme and actions for labour market orientation and introduction, as well as the presentation of micro-certifications in collaboration with the University of Roma Tre and IT Logix

During the course of the afternoon, legal studio DLA Piper held an informational session on tax incentives for companies that hire, providing a practical guide to the optimal use of the tax cuts introduced by recent measures. Moreover, there were Metaverse interview stations with candidates in Milan, organised by facilitators from the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. 

An increasing number of businesses have chosen to open up to this immersive world. In Italy, the Metaverse was recently tested by a consulting company and a bank. According to the Extended Reality & Metaverse Observatory of the School of Management at the Politecnico di Milano, in 2023, there were 34 new Metaverse projects related to businesses, especially in the human resources sector, proving the greater diffusion of extended reality into a wide range of sectors. And job seekers find this interesting, too. The Metaverse brings people closer together, like candidates that are far from interview offices or who cannot participate on-site. Moreover, in an increasingly globalised world, with companies spread all over the place and an increasing number of smart workers, the metaverse could provide important opportunities and advantages.
