Job Digital Lab: Matteo Mirenda's story in the daily newspaper Il Tirreno

The daily newspaper Il Tirreno returns to tell the story of Matteo Mirenda, a former computer scientist and now a digital craftsman, who has followed an exemplary path combining creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. After dedicating a first article to him in 2022 for his original ceramic wireless charger, today the newspaper highlights his ability to transform a workshop in Montelupo Fiorentino into an international hub of relationships, beauty and culture.

Mirenda is the founder of the Galleria Nuove Forme d'Arte and participated in the event JDL Talks. Ideas that do business in Florence, promoted as part of the Job Digital Lab programme, organised by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with ING Italia. On that occasion, he talked about how it is possible to rethink traditional craftsmanship thanks to digital skills, experiential marketing and the ability to build human relationships through art.

I use technology to create relationships. Art is a universal language,’ explains Matteo, who now welcomes visitors and customers from all over the world, from the United States to Saudi Arabia, to his workshop, which has also become a tourist destination.

With his story, Matteo demonstrates how solid skills and digital culture can become a lever for local development and sustainable business, enhancing the territory and traditions.
