This week's activities in the Palestra dell'Innovazione

The students of the three-year course in fashion and industrial design at theSan Raffaele Telematic University of Rome return to the digital environments of the Palestra dell'Innovazione at the Città Educativa in Rome for the practical workshops of the course in Design of exhibition spaces, coordinated by professor Aldo Renato Daniele Accardi.

In the classroom, to facilitate the use of the machines, especially in the fab lab, there are also our trainers. For the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, the contact person is Cecilia Stajano, head of communities.

On Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 for the whole day, from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., they are in the Fab Lab , a digital fabrication lab, and in the Game Lab.

Next Thursday, 23 January, pupils from the Artemisia Gentileschi Comprehensive Institute ‘invade’ the Agora for game sessions in theInterland Room. Young trainer Emanuele Coletta guides children in exploring the four fantastic realms of the Interland game, which in the Palestra dell'Innovazione has been transformed into a physical space, faithful in its graphics to the digital version. The children try their hand at digital and analogue educational activities to learn the fundamental lessons of online safety.

For each realm, there is a screen with voice support explaining the activities to be done, a session of screen-guided questions and riddles, and a handheld game. Project officer Marta Pietrelli, who is in charge of the project Vivi Internet, at its best, welcomes the children and coordinates the activities, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Also on Friday 24 January, from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the protagonists of the Palestra dell'Innovazione are the little ones. There will be two environments animated by the pupils of the Istituto comprensivo Tullio De Mauro, the Robotic Lab and the Fab Lab. Eleonora Curatola coordinates the activities, with the support of two trainers, Daniele Vigo for digital fabrication and Renato Beraldini for robotics.
