A table of citizens meets at the Innovation Gym Fab Lab
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is participating in the Permanent Citizens’ Table – “A Dialoguing Community – The Future in our Hands – Formal and Informal Network to Take Care for Care Leavers,” created by Rome’s Social Policy Councillorship, with Programme Smart & Heart Rome.
The next meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, July 19 (9:30 – 13:30), will be hosted at the Rome Città Educativa. The meeting will provide an opportunity for the exchange of views amongst operators in agencies managing minors and young adults. FMD aims to identify educational courses and inclusive jobs, including custom-tailored ones, in the technological innovation sector in which to insert the young adults working to achieve independence. Moreover, the meeting will also serve to present FMD activities and operational methodologies with a view to creating new ad hoc courses for the young adults.
The meeting will bring together various different organisations working with fragile youth in the area of Rome: ASP Asilo Savoia, Fondazione Antoniana Rogazionista, Antropos Onlus, Caritas Roma, CivicoZero Onlus, Refugees welcome italia onlus, Casa al Plurale, etc.
We chose the Fab Lab to host the meetings, so that participants will be able to experience the typical learning modalities at the Innovation Gym.
The digital manufacturing workshop will be held by Daniele Vigo. The event facilitation will be curated by Elena Barbieri, Rome Social Policy and Health Councillorship, Cecilia Stajano, and Giovanna Cipolla.
