Good practices for work orientation centres

Today, the Rome Città dell’Altra Economia is hosting the final event of two European projects that have actively inovlved the city’s Work Orientation Centres (COLs). Both projects, AppInterN and Motiv-Action, are funded by the Erasmus+ Programme and feature the Rome Council as a partner.

Project Apprenticeship Inter-Network – Bringing Together VET Institutions and Enterprises through a Network of Career Hubs is coordinated by the Hellenic Public Employment Service (OAED). Appintern focuses on the development of an on-line portal – Apprenticeship Inter-Network – which hosts three national career hubs (Greek, Italian, and Spanish). Each career hub helps graduates find employment, improve their employment appeal, provides professional orientation and special events (seminars, job fairs, etc.) and keeps in contact with “Business Ambassadors.”

The objective of Motiv-Action, coordinated by Igitego, is to identify a series of good practices and positive examples to create ideal scenarios in which career operators can develop a positive educational course, selecting the best digital practices and adapting them to their needs and creating new didactic material to promote the discussion and exchange of cross-border ideas.

La Fondazione Mondo Digitale will participate in the session dedicated to the presentation fo good practices. Riccardo Russo will present FMD’s collaboration with the city’s Work Orientation Centres (COLs) as part of Project Ambizione Italia for Work promoted with Microsoft and career guidance strategies to be developed as part of Project Digi-Breaker+ for adult learning.
