Coding Girls: University of Naples hackathon winners

Today’s hackathon at the “Federico II” University of Naples marks the end of the ninth edition of the Coding Girls national tour. Organised into 14 teams, 55 students from three local schools (Lucrezio Caro, Galileo Ferraris and R. Caccioppoli) met the challenge of creating an app providing assistance. The schools were helped to prepare for the hackathon by Coaches Stefano Spinelli and Salvatore Granata, who were also present at the final challenge. 

The common work was coordinated and supervise by Prof. Alessandra Rossi from the Department of Electric Engineering and Information Technology. 

The winners were selected by the following jury:

App that provides support to teachers and tutors with diabetic students, providing support and information                  

          

MOST CREATIVE PROJECT

Disability App - Team Sofias-Alessia-Giulia - Tito Lucrezio Caro

Members: Sofia Liguori, Alessia Lazzaro, Giulia Di Lorenzo   

App addressing sensory, intellectual and psychic disabilities. Immediate resolution of issues (voice to speech, maps of architectural barriers, communication symbols for autism)
