The 20 Hubs of Ital.IA Lab

Where they are and what they do for youth education

The 20 local hubs are dedicated to educating young men and women on generative artificial intelligence as part of Project Ital.IA Lab promoted with Microsoft. They are distributed as follows:

  • South and Islands: 10 hubs
  • Suburbs of major cities: 2 hubs
  • 3 hubs for women in collaboration with Programme Coding Girls
  • 3 hubs dedicated to individuals looking for employment
  • 2 special hubs at the Rome Innovation Gym and the Milan Microsoft House

The hubs work as true educational centres, both on-site and on-line. Starting today, activities begin at the Rome Einstein-Bachelet school, “located at the intersection of various contexts, such as the Massimina, Primavalle, Torresina, Casalotti, Selva Candida, Selva Nera, Montespaccato, Torrevecchia, and Boccea areas, suburbs in contstant transformation.” The school, directed by Stefania Cardillo, “represents a historical educational and social attracion centre” [from the School PTOF]. Coach Renato Beraldini will host today’s session.

The twelve school hubs will provide 30 hours of training (6 on-site and the rest on-line) with a dedicated course available on FMD Academy.
