Team SPQR is preparing for the July World Championships in Bordeaux, France

Elisa Santini is a masters student in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at Sapienza University of Rome. At RomeCup 2023, she collaborated with Team SPQR from the University’s “Antonio Ruberti” Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering, coordinated by Daniele Nardi, Professor of Artificial Intelligence.

On the field organised at the Rome Campidoglio (May 5), university students and researchers demonstrated how Nao robots play, both in attack and defence.

In the meantime, Team SPQR is preparing for RoboCup 2023, the July World Championships in Bordeaux, France on July 4-10. Team SPQR will be participating in the Champions Cup in the Standard Platform League. For the first time, the competition will be amongst seven-robot teams. And the team which used to be almost exclusively composed of males, now includes four women.
