Project selected by ‘With children to fight child educational poverty’
The objective of the Peer Sharing project, thanks to the very diverse skills of the partnership, is to combat educational poverty in the area by creating the Educating Community of the VII Municipality of Rome with a ‘peer sharing’ between the various subjects active in the area.
A multi-level strategy is used to strengthen the identity of the area and municipal services, and to intensify local initiatives and services, spread throughout the area, particularly in the most marginalised areas. The ability of the actors to collaborate in a network is increased and the acquisition of new educational skills for the implementation of services is promoted. The greater empowerment of the members of the widespread educating community is experienced in the co-design of educational tools for the network. This mobilisation facilitates the social integration of minors and families in educational poverty by initiating a sustainable educational generative welfare model. A supportive educating community works to mitigate the economic and social differences resulting from the lack of homogeneity in the municipality.
