Next Saturday, free events for families in Municipio VII

On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, Decathlon Appio renews its social commitment with a series of free events and initiatives aimed at families in Municipio VII in Rome, promoting cultural, educational and sporting activities. The initiative, which takes place from 15 to 30 March, is part of a broader effort to support the educational community, in line with the principles of the Peer Sharing project, coordinated by ForumSad (lead partner).

The aim is to create meeting and sharing spaces where children, young people and adults can experience educational and inclusive activities, strengthening the sense of belonging to the community and promoting widespread education.

The initiative kicks off next Saturday 15 March with a day full of activities:

  • 4-6 p.m. | L'Isola dell'Arte is organising an exhibition and demonstration of Japanese Taiko drums, followed by a rehearsal open to all
  • From 11 a.m. | Art workshop for children and teenagers
  • 4 p.m. | ASD Fuor Dance is offering a demonstration of Pilates and Pole Dance
  • All day long | Fun science organises a workshop for children to discover the world of science in a fun and interactive way.

During the following weekends, there will be artistic and sporting performances, theatre workshops, demonstrations of inclusive mobility and moments of solidarity, thanks to the collaboration with local associations.

Thanks to this initiative, Decathlon Appio promotes an active and supportive community, confirming the value of collaboration between companies, associations and local organisations to build an inclusive and participatory educational model.
