A new story from the Job Digital Lab blog: Federico Gorini’s journey
Nicoletta Vulpetti continues to tell the stories of the people who shape Job Digital Lab, gathering professional stories that speak not only of skills, but of choices, values and different ways of approaching work.
This time, the voice belongs to Federico Gorini, Head of Finance Business Advice at ING Italia. His story begins with a broad, almost irrepressible curiosity: the science-focused sixth form, the conservatoire, the indecision between very different paths, right up to his encounter with economics and the financial markets, where complexity and change become a breeding ground for growth.
But his story is also a reflection on wellbeing at work. For Federico, leading a team means demanding quality without burning people out, learning from mistakes without turning them into blame, and building an environment where people work well because they feel at ease.
Federico Gorini took part in the “Coding Girls for Entrepreneurship and Digital Innovation” programme, as part of Job Digital Lab, in collaboration with the Department of Computer, Automation and Management Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. A testimony that captures the deepest meaning of the project: helping young people navigate change, finding a new path every day [see the news item Coding Girls enters the University]. And today she is speaking at the final event in Rome, organised in partnership with the national programme Coding Girls & Women, funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies under the Fund for the financing of initiatives and projects of national importance pursuant to Article 72 of Legislative Decree No. 117 of 3 July 2017, as amended.
