Eighth session of the programme in Arezzo
The eighth and final training session of Women in AI – the project promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale to support women in acquiring artificial intelligence skills useful in their professional lives – is taking place in Arezzo.
The project, funded by the Centre for Public Impact as part of the Google.org AI Opportunity Fund, was created to help reduce barriers to accessing training in the most advanced technologies and to offer female entrepreneurs and workers practical tools to tackle the digital transformation with greater awareness and autonomy. The programme aims not only to develop practical skills in the use of AI, but also to strengthen critical thinking and confidence in the responsible use of these tools.
The new session, organised in collaboration with the Comitato Imprenditoria Femminile (CIF), with the support of the Punto Impresa Digitale (PID) and Arezzo Sviluppo, kicks off on Wednesday 11 November at the Arezzo-Siena Chamber of Commerce, at Via Lazzaro Spallanzani 25.
Participants will include female entrepreneurs, self-employed professionals and employees of small and medium-sized enterprises in the service sector. The participants will work in two parallel groups, led by trainers Francesco Lazzarotto and Massimo Marzocco from Quadmark, an organisation specialising in corporate training which is responsible for the project’s educational programme.
Three sessions on using AI at work
The training takes place in person, from 2.30 pm to 6 pm, over three sessions:
- 11 November. Introduction to AI and Maximise productivity with AI tools
- 18 November. Discover the art of prompting
- 25 November. Use AI responsibly and keep up to date with AI
At the heart of the sessions is a practical and interactive approach: understanding how artificial intelligence works and its potential, learning to formulate effective prompts, integrating AI tools into daily activities, and developing criteria for their responsible use. These are the very same areas covered by the Google AI Essentials programme, adopted by the project to facilitate learning that can be immediately applied in professional contexts. The Arezzo event thus brings to a close a programme which, between 2025 and 2026, has involved women working in various professional sectors, with the aim of ensuring that artificial intelligence becomes not a new source of inequality, but a driver of growth, autonomy and participation in change.
