The Thematic Week dedicated to digital literacy is underway in the schools of Rome. The focus is on media art in preparation of the Media Art Festival. Today, at 2 pm, students at the Liceo Benedetto Croce will meet with Lino Strangis, a 34-year old transmedia artist who works and lives in Rome
The objective of the lab on audio-visual production in the context of contemporary art is to create a collective work under the guidance of the artist.
The Media Art Festival is a project-event that aims to create a bridge between schools, research centres, universities and enterprises, by introducing the new generations to a new way of conceiving and using technology, stimulating the development of strategic skills and the development of new professional profiles.
The event will be held on February 25 – March 1, 2015 at the Centrale Montemartini Museum, a renowned symbol of the union between art and technology, and at the Rome Città Educativa.
