The objective of the +We Würth Experience UX in Action Module is to introduce students in their last years of high school to the potential of immersive reality and new 3D modelling technology by developing a user experience project with Würth Italia products.

The project involves 25 students from IIS Via Copernico in Pomezia, coordinated by Professor Pietro Ingargiola. It’s the same class that participate in the Clicode Hackathon (first phase of Project +We Würth Experience that involved 170 students from the Lazio Region) on November 28.

Now, with the help of coaches, the students will experiment with innovative solutions to improve multi-channel user experience from a range of different points of view. The final result will be an application that will provide a plan for integrating new technology into the B2B sales experience.

The module is based on 4-hour meetings that will be held between February and May 2019 in which students will address the following issues:

  • Overview of theoretical and practical tools to develop a user experience and B2B sales product.
  • 3D modelling with Maya to render Würth products with CAD.
  • Development of apps with Unity.
  • Photoshop for development of the user interface.

In the first meeting, Alessio Verolini, a Fondazione Mondo Digitale Coach and university student at the Fondazione VIGAMUS, will address specific aspects of 3D modelling for virtual reality and techniques to improve and optimise resources.

The course is provided by the Phyrtual Innovation Gym and is based on the Life Education Model. The project is coordinated by Fiammetta Castagnini [@Fiammetta_FMD].
