Roboteco: final challenge for Coding Girls in Bergamo.
Anna Salvetti, Chief Operating Officer at Roboteco-Italargon, will open today’s all-female challenge at the Ponte San Pietro offices of this top automation firm. In this short interview with Onelia Onorati, Salvetti explains the commitment of the company to invest in the new generations, promoting innovation and inclusion.
Why is Roboteco-Italargon's interested in young people? Why did you join the Coding Girls educational alliance?
We joined Coding Girls because we firmly believe in the importance of promoting diversity and inclusion in our sector. We want to help bridge the gender gap in STEM by providing concrete opportunities to young women who are passionate about technology and innovation. We believe that diverse teams generate more creative ideas and better solutions, and we believe it is essential to support the talent and enthusiasm of the new generations. This project is not only an investment in the future of our company, but also a way to produce a positive impact on society, encouraging an important cultural change.
What type of talent are you looking for?
We are looking for individuals who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn. The ideal would be to integrate young women who wish to study and pursue a career in the field of robotics and automation, thereby contributing with enthusiasm to the development of our team.
What do you think about the university students who collaborated with you?
We are proud that even young women who have already taken an important first step by choosing a university programme in STEM participated in the project. We want to support these students who, with courage and determination, are building their future in an environment full of challenges and opportunities. Our goal is to provide them with a context in which they can put their knowledge into practice, grow professionally, and actively contribute to technological innovation. We believe in their potential and are ready to support them in transforming their aspirations into concrete realities.
