Lisbon: SciCo+ Partnership Meeting ends.
The third transactional meeting of the Project SciCo+ consortium, which involves organisations from five countries (Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Romania, and Sweden) and was held at the Ciencia Viva National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture, ended yesterday in Lisbon (Portugal). The partnership is coordinated by Fondazione Idis-Città della scienza. Project Manager Annaleda Mazzucato was present on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
The three-day meeting addressed topics concerning the communication of scientific results, innovation processes, and their impact on the lives of citizens. A further subject of focus was participatory science.
But what are the professional skills required to be a good scientific communicator? The project objectives also include the development of a reference framework for training of science communicators.
