Once again, the Genoa Robotics School will participate in “RomeCup 2012 – Excellence in Robotics in Rome” along with the Ospedale Gaslini di Genova, Università Politecnica delle Marche, 81° Circolo Didattico Marco Polo (Rome) and the Istituto Comprensivo Don Milani (Latina).

From the innovative workshop on creative robotics in hospitals for teachers to student laboratories on how to design and construct robots, it’s RomeCup 2012.

“Offering robotics to everyone, even the weakest, is an activity that we firmly believe in. Educational Robotics helps to make children's stay at a hospital more pleasant and, above all, helps them to continue with their studies,” explains Fiorella Operto, President of the Robotics School.

Promoting the technological skills of all young people, right from childhood, is one of the objectives of E-Skills. RomeCup 2012, which is promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, is also part of this initiative supported by the DG Enterprise & Industry of the European Commission and organized by EUN (European SchoolNet) and Digital Europe and coordinated in Italy by ECWT (European Centre for Women and Technology) Italian Contact Point.
