Digital Village: part of a course dedicated to university students.
The pandemic has transformed our houses from a family nest to a strategic centre for daily life, a multifunctional environment in which many different activities are carried out, including studying.
Today, 64.2% of Italians say they spend more time at home than five years ago. And for 89.2%, domestic security is essential to quality of life.
How can we make our houses a safe place? According to the data provided by the third edition of the Observatory on Home Safety (Censis, October 2024), during the last year, there were 2 million and 308 thousand domestic accidents.
And accidents do not only involve elders: 12.8% concerns individuals aged 6-24 and 18.2% those aged 25-44. The pie graph reveals the percentage of people involved in domestic accidents by age group over the last three months [values in thousands, per 1000 individuals].
Thanks to an agreement with the Sapienza Futura student association, we have organised a module of Project Digital Village for university students on Thursday, November 14.
