What’s happening today at Sapienza University of Rome: challenges, meetings and labs.
Today is the second day of the 15th edition of the RomeCup, which returns in presence, after two years. The first two days of the event will be hosted by Sapienza University of Rome in the Marco Polo Building (Viale dello Scalo S. Lorenzo 82) [see news: RomeCup: May 2-4].
Here is the programme for Tuesday, May 3:
10 - 13 | UNIVERSITY CONTESTS AND FINAL 5GBOT EVENT
Creative contests for the development of robotic technology applied a variety of sectors including agriculture, assistance for elders and rehabilitation. Teams of high school students, university students and researchers will work jointly on the robotic solutions.

“5G and Digital Education” – Final 5GBOT Event
Final event for Project 5GBOT promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with the Fondazione Lars Magnus Ericsson.
The project has involved high school and university students in a new contest on 5G, along with researchers from three Ericsson R&D Centres in Italy (Genoa, Pisa, Pagani).
The RomeCup will host the presentation of the prototypes and a round table on “5G and Digital Education”. The jury will be composed by Ericsson partner companies.

Kick-off event for Project TECOM – Technology & Communications. New forms of communication to present science and technology in collaboration with Lazio Innova. Mini Creative Jam with students from schools in Lazio to address challenges based on robotics and 5G for fragile users, gaming, life sciences and wearable technology.
