RomeCup 2025: Invitation to Schools

Registration underway for competitions, contests, labs, talks, and showcase area.

We invite all schools to participate in the 18th edition of RomeCup, the largest innovation event dedicated to youth with schools, universities, research centres, companies, and public organisations, promoting training, orientation, and innovative educational methodologies.

The 18th edition, entitled “What’s Next? Human and Artificial Intelligence. Challenges for Holistic Wellbeing,” has the patronage of the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI), National Research Council (CNR), and the Italian Institute for Technology (IIT). RomeCup will be held on May 7-8 at the University of Roma Tre and on May 9 at the Rome Campidoglio.

The event provides an arena for debates amongst international experts, scientists, researchers, educators, and public decision-makers on ethical and transparent AI and robotics solutions to promote a more inclusive future founded on shared values. RomeCup 2025 is a unique learning opportunity that provides activities for all types of schools and levels.

Once again, RomeCup 2025 will host

  • Robotics Competitions in the following categories: On Stage (Preliminary and Advanced), Explorer (Junior and Senior), Soccer (Open League and Light Weight), Rescue Line, Robotic Arms, Superteam Championship (Rescue Line and Soccer)
  • Creative Contests: team of high school students and university researchers collaborate on the development of robotic arms for various different fields, from agriculture to autonomous driving.
  • Didactic Labs on coding and educational robotics such as Ozobot, Scratch, Marvel, Omnidirectional Rover, and Legolab.
  • Inspirational Talks: meetings with scientists, professors, scholars, and sector leaders to motivate, inspire, and orient youth towards careers of the future.
  • Showcase Area: an area in which schools will be able to present innovative stereotypes to event visitors.

High school student participation is valid for PCTO credits, based on effective participation and attendance.
