Tomorrow, May 15 at 10 am, the students and teachers from the year one classes of Roman schools will become tutors for a day and introduce elementary school children to Educational Robotics.
The 154° CD di Casalpalocco has employed didactic robotics together with the FMD and tomorrow the children will show other children what they have learned. The protagonist will be BEE-BOT, a friendly bee robots that moves on a checkerboard and moves around letters, numbers, animals and flowers.
It is controlled via buttons and introduces children to motors and sensors, robotic control and constructions, through a fun game, while the robot moves around, performs calculations, composes stories and creates words.
The initiative is part of the “Innovation in Didactics” Project of Città Educativa, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with support from Roma Capitale.
