Una nuova sfida in edizione pilota aperta a tutti
RomeCup 2023 will introduce a new challenge dedicated to robotic arms, a pilot challenge that will then be integrated into the 2024 edition.
The challenge will be held on May 3-4 at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. Registered teams will demonstrate the potential and functionality of robotic arms. The challenge is open to everyone: schools, companies, associations, and individual teams.
The initiative stems from our collaboration with two schools of excellence in robotics: IIS Avogadro in Vercelli, with Prof. Luca Oliva, and IISS Licei “Canudo-Marone” - ITT “Galilei with Prof. Umberto Chimenti. The schools had the opportunity to discuss and draw up the regulations for the next edition of the challenge, which will be previewed on May 3-4 May and held at the competition field in the large exhibition area of the event. On both days, from 11.30 to 12.30, it will be possible to observe the robotic arms in action. The teams, free to express their creativity, will illustrate the functionality of the prototypes, such as for the recovery, research and manipulation of objects, the interception of trajectories and the implementation of complex movements.
Participating Teams (in progress)
- IIS Ettore Majorana, Avezzano (AQ)
- Liceo Statale Marie Curie, Giulianova (TE)
- IISS Canudo-Galilei, Brindisi (BR)
- IIS G. Marconi di Nocera Inferiore (Salerno)
- ITIS Galileo Ferraris, Naples
- IIS G. Marconi, Civitavecchia (Rome)
- Officine Robotiche, associazione (Rome)
The registration deadline is April 15, 2023. To register, please send a short presentation (ppt or pdf) and short demo video (max 2 minutes) to romecup@mondodigitale.org.
