‘Equal for all’, today first workshop at the Visconti high school in Rome
In the aftermath of the first National Day of Respect (20 January, law no. 70 of 17 May 2024), the training programme of the Equal for All project starts at the Ennio Quirino Visconti classical high school in Rome, to raise young people's awareness on issues of equality, legality and digital awareness and against all forms of violence against women.
The first workshop is scheduled today from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The meeting involves two classes, for a total of about 50 students, and sees the participation of Gianni & Origoni, the Polizia di Stato and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
In the first part of the training session, experts from Gianni & Origoni and the Polizia di Stato introduce the key elements of the project, explain the phenomenon of violence against women and also share some ‘life stories’ centred on the values of respect and inclusion. Following this, the trainer of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Nicoletta Vulpetti, animates a more participatory and interactive session, focused on the construction of a Manifesto for the culture of respect.
For Gianni & Origoni, speakers were Gabriella Covino, Ludovica Di Paolo Antonio and Hilde Arcovito, while for the Polizia di Stato, Marcella Croce and Barbara Strappato participated.
