The 4th meeting of Project ACCORD - Attain Cultural Integration through COnflict Resolution skill Development, will be hosted by the University of Vienna on September 11-12. Annaleda Mazzucato, Project Manager for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will present strategy recommendations to publicise the project results with the objective of promoting the use of serious game Accord not only in didactic and educational activities to develop learning strategies for the resolution of cultural conflicts and intercultural communication skills, but also as a tool to use at home and at work.
The project, which is funded by EACEA as part of the Erasmus Programme, aims to evaluate and provide negotiation skills through simulated interactions between users and a virtual agent that is controlled by an AI system. The game is easy to use and will be tested over the coming months in collaboration with high school students. At present, the game is available for common browsers, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
