The Fondazione Mondo Digitale collaborates with 25 universities and research centres in 13 countries thanks to the European projects coordinated by Project Manager Annaleda Mazzucato. In fact, the FMD has developed a complete cycle approach including action-research, development and implementation (ARD&I) that leads to academic-level theoretical work, the development of on-line platforms, knowledge objects and tools and the implementation of a wide range of projects concerning education, digital inclusion, and the development of local communities.
The Scientific Director of the Fondazione, Alfonso Molina, is Personal Chair in Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh, where he taught for over 20 years.
