“Most Promising Researcher in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence”
For RomeCup 2025, an event with the patronage of the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI), the National Research Council (CNR), and the Italian Technology Institute (IIT), the Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS is promoting, together with the University of “Roma Tre” , Italian Tech, and the GEDI Publishing Group, the third edition of the Most Promising Researcher in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Award for young researchers and PhD students conducting research projects on robotics and/or AI. The award is backed by prestigious universities and research centres.
A jury nominated by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Rome “Campus Bio-Medico” University, composed by academics and representatives of the scientific and technological community, will evaluate applications and select the winner to be announced on May 8 as part of RomeCup 2025.
The award aims to support the work of young talent conducting research in cutting-edge technological sectors, such as robotics and AI, to promote the development of Italy.
The award, which comes with a €20,000 prize, will be assigned in recognition of the creativity, vision, dedication, perseverance, and ability to contribute through work and research to the development and progress of humanity.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Applicants must be physical individuals, doctoral students in all fields and/or researchers (no older then 34) conducting research activities in Italian centres, agencies, institutes, universities, or other public and private structures.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To participate, candidates must complete the application form and attach the following documentation by February 28, 2025, no later than 8:00 pm:

- Reference letter (pdf)
- Academic paper authored or co-authored by applicant that best reflects award objectives
- Photo (max 2 MB).
