Ital.IA Lab, new course in five modules for schools

Artificial intelligence (AI) is profoundly transforming the way we learn, work and live, posing new challenges and opportunities for society. The ‘GenerAzione IA’ course, in collaboration with Microsoft as part of the Ital.IA Lab programme, offers an opportunity to prepare young people for new scenarios, not only in the workplace, in which AI plays an increasingly central role.

What does ‘GenerAzione IA’ offer?

  • Five interactive webinars to explore some key topics of AI: from fundamental principles to ethics, from practical applications to the transformation of the world of work.
  • Hands-on training: exercises with the advanced tools of Microsoft Learn for Educators.
  • Certification: participants receive a micro-certificate validated by the University of Roma Tre, attesting the skills acquired.
  • Orientation and inspiration: the webinars are led by Elisa Chierchiello, researcher at the University of Turin, and Giulia Nardini, master's student in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at Sapienza University of Rome.

Who is it aimed at?
The project is aimed at young people to help them understand, use and face the potential of AI with awareness (no basic skills required).

An added value for personal and professional growth. The pathway also provides for the recognition of workshop hours for the Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation (Pcto).

Educating Community
The project is not only aimed at students, but also involves teachers and parents. Teachers receive practical tools for integrating AI into their teaching paths, while parents are invited to explore how AI can support their children's learning and career choices.
