The Fab Lab at the Rome Phyrtual Innovation Gym welcomes its first PopUp Makers to share ideas, projects and wishes for the New Year. The appointment is for next Wednesday, December 17 at 7 pm at Via del Quadraro 102.
Three projects will be protagonists:
• My son is not only my source of inspiration for every work I create, but also my helper and user. It is with him and thanks to him that I find new stimuli that feed my creativity and inventions.
From labyrinths to mental control games: Ferdinando Miraglia builds and explains games for children.
• In Apio, every real object has a virtual counterpart. This association takes place via the Object Dictionary.

• Our challenge is to demonstrate that the fab lab and coworking are replicable business models that can help one earn a living. Community managers are increasingly a professional figure, just as a maker can make a living on his “doing.”

The format is the classic one: a few minutes to share ideas and demo a prototype, followed by a discussion. At the end, an aperilab will allow everyone to make a toast to the New Year.
The welcome will be given by Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy, University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director, Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
