He plays ping pong professionally in the Category D championship. He also loves like single player (Uncharted) and multiplayer videogames (Call of Duty). He has been using virtual reality visors for at least two years, well before the metaverse was on everybody’s lips. More recently, he has grown interested in Wallet, NFT and blockchain, but he admits that “it is hard for someone young to invest their earnings with these tools.”

He loves programming and has chosen to participate in Ambizione Italia School Programme to improve his skills in this area. As an adult, he dreams of becoming a videogame developer.

Vincenzo is also 16 and attends the third year of a computer science programme at the Pacinotti School. He loves technology and computer science. “Coding is one of the things I like best, and I do best.” His interest began three years ago with his friend Mattia, who then became a classmate.

“At first, my parents were sceptic, but they have now understood the potential of my passion. We programme in C++ and Python. I’m participating in Ambizione Italia to broaden my knowledge in this field.

I can already see myself at university, studying and working with a team, so that I can both study and programme sites or videogames. Mattia and I would like to study in Naples.”

In this double interview, Mattia and Vincenzo tell us about their passion and projects for the future.
