Path to a Job

The objective of Project Path to a Job, financed by the Erasmus + Programme (KA2 strategic partnership), is to promote inclusion and the working integration of young men and women through operations at the personal, family and social level.

 

Project beneficiaries are young men and women aged 17-24 with less opportunity (NEETs and disadvantaged youth).

 

Project Partners:

 

The 28-month project (Sept 2015-Jan 2018) will implement the following activities:

 

  • Project Local Working Group – create a local work group with ca. 10 members (staff, animators, youth, etc.) to jointly manage the project and analyse the results.
  • Good Practice Database – identify, catalogue and exchange good practices. Each partners is responsible for two good practices from its organization and two others that have been implemented locally.
  • Path to Job Methodology – a guide for organisations working with youth on labour market insertion. Organisation of local work groups with young men and women. Translation into Italian and localization of the guide.
  • Web Portal
  • Training – organization of an international training meeting on “ICT-based Resources for Job Seeking Training Courses.” Participation in the international  “Comprehensive Coach system” training course.
  • Local Event – organization of an event in Rome with 60 participants to match youth with jobs through agencies and policy makers.
  • Project Meeting – Five two-day project meetings (1 day meeting + 1 day workshop)
